It’s a nice summer day, but I’m cooped up inside because it’s raining cats and dogs (That’s what makes it nice — we’re still in a severe drought in Texas). So what better thing to do than dream about where I might ride my bike someday?
A blog called “Travel Supermarket” helped, by listing nine bike rides to take before you die.

Northern Michigan is my most exotic (?) biking venue so far. How about you?
So far, I have kept my venues in the state of Texas. Maybe once I finally complete all the ones on my list, I may venture out of state.
My list:
MS-150: Houston Austin [DONE]
Pedal Through the Pines [DONE]
Hot’r Than Hell 100
Shiner G.A.S.P. 100
Outlaw Trail 100
Fiesta Wildflower 100
Tour De Gruene
I’ve ridden in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. While I love just about every ride I’ve ever done in Colorado and most of the rides in Pennsylvania, my most favorite ride to date was a 150-mile all-day epic from suburban Philadelphia to the Jersey Shore via Cape May. It was a blast.
I rode along the Danube River from Vienna to Bratislava. It was amazing.
in the US;
*Natchez Trace -Nashville TN – Natchez MS -442 miles [done]
*Florida Keys – Key Largo – Key West – approx 100 [next 🙂 ]
