My virtual friend Steve Martin, he of “There and Back Again” fame, linked earlier today to a feel-good story: a British cyclist who broke the one-hour cycling record in the 80-84 year-old category. Sidney Schuman is 84.
He covered 28.388 kilometers (17.64 miles) in one hour.

“This is not much of a record,” he said, “But that’s not the point.”
The point is that maybe 21 years from now, his record might be broken by a guy who now spends some time blogging about biking.
you better!
Haven’t got my eye on that one.
